Test your TITLE on YouTube?

So we can test thumbnails on YouTube to reveal the winning clickthrough rate, and now it looks like Titles could be the next important component to allow testing.

[July 14, 2025] Experimenting with a new feature to test and compare video titles: We’re starting to experiment with a feature that gives creators the ability to test titles as well as thumbnails using our “Test & compare” feature in Studio. We’re rolling this out to a small percentage of creators at first, but we’ll keep you posted on our plans to expand it to more creators.

Have you spotted a new trend for review based videos?

Basically rather than a list of how to do something, instead:

"Audience review" content shows people what they're doing wrong, then fixes it live"

In a previous 'Viewsletter' I mentioned Alex Hormozi's excellent series mentoring business owners.

But you don't need to make the production complicated like a TV show - you can simplify and do it as a zoom screen share recording.

How to us AI Video?

With all the excitement over cinematic AI Video I've been wondering how best to actually use it.

AI Video generators like Veo 3 only allow 8 secs video (or you can storyboard and stitch clips together.)

So you need to be creative.

One obvious way is to go for humor, short clips you can insert into your longer talking head videos to make them more engaging or use as a pattern interrupt.

I noticed this video below where they have created VoxPops with Veo 3.

VoxPops are short interview clips featuring members of the public expressing their opinions on a particular topic - but in this case the people are AI generated.

Astonishing.

I am NOT saying you should fake interviews/testimonials.

You can say in your video it's made by AI or add text to that effect.

But you can use the tool for entertainment.

For example:

Say you are a Dating Coach, you could create fun VoxPops where AI people are talking about their dumbest pick up lines.

Example reply you prompt the AI with:

"Did it hurt? When you fell from heaven?"

Then you continue your video: "Don't be like these dumb AI generated people ... you need to .... etc "
