This edition is sponsored by NanoBanana 🍌 AI (Image Editor) 👉 More info Hi there! So I can't keep up with all the new video goodies. BTW there is something if you don't like AI 🤬 at the end for you. YouTube has gone nuts! I touched on a few of the new YouTube features in the last Viewsletter but there are even more. Probably the easiest summary to wrap your head around is in this video, watch it at 1.5x speed if you are in a rush. Speaking of which. ... Veo3 built into YouTube shorts You can make shorts in seconds via one of the new features. Veo3 (an AI Video creator) is now built free into YouTube shorts. On the YouTube app ... Hit + on bottom bar, then this icon top right ... Then click Video Clips ... Next add a simple prompt (characters/people can speak, so write what you want your character to say.) You can then choose an AI generated image to base the video on, add music and text, caption if you want and publish. So ... I have been experimenting, and wondered if I could catch the wave of searches around the golfing Ryder Cup going on at the time. WTH! I hit the mark with over 550k views on just one short :) albeit the viewers aren't that connected to my niche LOL 👇 And yes, before you say it ... I am not very prolific on YouTube, my bad! Sora 2 is go! Talking about AI. Well you can't have failed to notice the launch of OpenAi's Sora 2. It's proving controversial due to copyright infringements and deep fakes and my facebook feed (like yours I imagine) has exploded with people testing it. It has been released as an App in the USA & Canada or via an invite to the desktop version, so in the UK I have to wait for now 😬. But it looks incredible, I can see mock Video Ads popping up already using Sora 2 and marketers can't stop testing it. Cast yourself in a video, add a prompt and you can do this 👉 watch. So other than a short lived gimmick, do you think you can actually use this in your own Marketing? Very random but .. I was browsing YouTube and I found these doppelgangers. On the left Gareth Lamb (Brit YouTube/Skool coach living in Thailand) and on the right Mike Pugh, a financial planner based in the UK.😮 Uncanny! Keep it simple? If all this AI driven fast paced, glitzy style content leaves you cold ... Here's a successful lo-fi, minimal editing talking head channel that proves if you are an expert with a strong message you can do great with simplicity.
